Outdoor sound designed around the entire space

UpLync Networks expanded the home’s existing Control4 system with a comprehensive outdoor audio installation serving the pool deck, patio dining area, and firepit.

The pool area received an Origin Acoustics 6.1 landscape system consisting of six strategically positioned satellite speakers, a buried subwoofer, and dedicated DSP amplification. The compact speakers were placed throughout the surrounding landscape to distribute sound evenly without relying on a few loud speakers mounted against the house.

Two Bang & Olufsen architectural bollard speakers extend coverage into the patio dining and firepit area. All eight speakers and the subwoofer operate together as one synchronized Control4 audio zone, allowing the entire outdoor space to be controlled as easily as any room inside the home.

Designed to be heard, not dominate the landscape

Careful placement allows the speakers to blend naturally into the stone beds, plantings, and surrounding architecture. Direct-burial wiring remains concealed below the finished landscape, while the subwoofer delivers low-frequency impact with only a discreet portion of the enclosure visible.

The result is balanced sound throughout the property at comfortable listening levels, with enough output for summer parties, evenings around the fire, and football Sundays. This is the kind of outdoor space where everyone wants to gather.
