Integrated Poolside & Patio Audio
Erie County | July 2026
A comprehensive outdoor audio system now surrounds the pool deck, patio dining area, and firepit with rich, evenly distributed sound. Six Origin Acoustics landscape speakers and a buried subwoofer provide immersive coverage around the pool, while two Bang & Olufsen Beosound Bollards extend premium architectural audio across the patio. Integrated into the home’s existing Control4 system as one synchronized outdoor zone, the result is built for summer parties, evenings around the fire, and football Sundays—the kind of outdoor space where everyone wants to gather.
Estate-Wide Wi-Fi Enhancement
Erie County | July 2026
UpLync Networks returned to complete the final phase of the homeowner’s wireless network deployment, adding dedicated access points across both second-floor wings of the 8,800-square-foot residence. The enhancement finalized consistent coverage throughout the home while complementing the previously upgraded network serving the basement, main floor, pool area, driveway, and surrounding property.
Private Gate Access Modernization
Erie County | July 2026
An obsolete driveway gate communication system was replaced with modern network-based video entry and remote gate control. Because the original underground cabling is no longer serviceable, the project includes a new communications pathway, fiber connectivity, weather-protected field equipment, and a durable foundation for reliable visitor communication and future expansion.
Rural Residence Surveillance Retrofit & Network Enhancement
Erie County | May 2026
A complete wired-surveillance system was retrofitted into an existing rural residence with no prior camera infrastructure. New cabling was carefully routed through extensive attic and concealed spaces to support exterior cameras, centralized local recording, and remote viewing. Existing networking was also improved by replacing exposed Ethernet cabling routed through doorways with a properly installed in-wall connection and finished wall jack.
Crafted Concepts is an East Aurora-based, full-service design-build firm bringing architecture, engineering, construction, and interior design together under one roof. Its work combines thoughtful modern design with high-performance building science, emphasizing homes that are efficient, resilient, durable, and carefully suited to their surroundings. That approach earned national recognition in 2026 through an ICF Builder Award for a separate custom residence in East Aurora.
UpLync Networks has contributed the technology layer to several Crafted Concepts homes, planning security, surveillance, video entry, controlled lighting, networking, entertainment, and centralized automation alongside the construction process. The completed Cartwright and Varnsen residences demonstrate that collaboration, while a new 6,000+ sq. ft. custom residence offers a preview of what is currently in development.

The Cartwright

Large Residential Custom Build
6,000 Sq. Ft. | Scheduled Completion August 2026
UpLync Networks is currently installing the low-voltage infrastructure for a new 6,000-plus-square-foot Crafted Concepts residence. The proposed scope includes comprehensive structured networking, security integrated with monitored fire detection, and surveillance including video entry, with consulting and preparation for media distribution between multiple living areas, a master suite and office, and guest bedrooms.
Residential Control4 Takeover & Modernization
Modernization of an existing Control4 system in a 2,016 sq ft home. Scope included dealer takeover, three major firmware updates (and dozens of patches for 7 years without servicing), upgraded Halo Touch remote control, Core Lite controller integration, AVR/music corrections, basement entertainment cleanup, and hardwired network improvements to reduce Wi-Fi reliance across the main entertainment areas.
Residential Security Takeover & Local Monitoring
Takeover and active monitoring of an existing residential security system. Scope included routine hardware inspection, battery replacement, offline sensor restoration, system communication verification, and transition to a more local, service-focused monitoring relationship.

Erie County, NY — 2024 - 2025
A ground-up build where every system was designed before drywall — resulting in seamless audio, networking, security, and TV distribution with no exposed wires or post-construction compromises.
Scope included:

8,800 sq ft System Takeover — Network & AV Rework
Erie County, NY — 2025 & 2026
Originally installed by another company, this home had constant drop-outs, audio failures, and Wi-Fi dead zones. We were brought in to rebuild the network, replace failed audio paths, and make the home finally work the way it should have from day one.
Fixes & upgrades:
• Full network redesign + new access points
• Rewired audio matrix & corrected amplifier loads
• Reprogrammed TV + streaming sources
• Stabilized control system for daily use
• Future-proofed wiring for additional upgrades
Pole Barn + Cottage System — Multi-Structure Connectivity
Chautauqua County, NY — 2024
Two separate buildings on adjacent properties connected with a wireless bridge and built-out networks for sufficient coverage. After a takeover of the cottage, updating their control system and optimizing their theater room, we also integrated cameras for both structures into the same viewing session, adopted media zones, and enhanced the workout room for multiple displays .

6,000 sq ft Coastal Home — Full-Property Wi-Fi & AV Overhaul
Sarasota County, FL — 2025
A luxury home with poor Wi-Fi coverage, outdated AV, and multiple streaming conflicts. We engineered a new network backbone, refreshed media systems, and optimized outdoor audio while preserving existing hardware where possible.
Highlights:

Elma Custom Residence (New Construction, 2026)
Low-voltage planning for a 4,300+ sq ft custom home currently under construction. The proposed scope is designed around pre-drywall infrastructure for whole-home networking, Wi-Fi access points, security, Great Room entertainment, covered patio audio, future expansion, and architectural low-voltage lighting. Potential lighting features include toe-kick in hallways and bathrooms, under-cabinet, and flush trim ceiling lighting provisions.
Tiki Hut Remodel (Southwest Florida, Sep 2026)
Updating the customer’s cabana that has weathered some storms over the years. Their remodel includes salt-water resistant (IP67 rated) surveillance cameras, all-weather speakers, integrated media source with the home, all-weather TV & soundbar along with appropriate connections (physical and logical) for sharing media sources with the home.

Security Enhancements for Commercial properties
Replacing old cameras running off analog & coaxial power and communication with up-to-date power over ethernet cameras including one License Plate Reader (LPR) for additional security. Adding an LPR at another commercial construction administration building. Installing a video intercom system in a small-business building.
